Wine of Central Otago, New Zealand

TOSQ specialises in the production of premium quality pinot noir and pinot gris.  Family owned, our vineyards are situated on the terraces between Lake Dunstan and the Pisa Range in Central Otago, New Zealand.  
We have been hands-on in the establishment and tending of the vines from day one, with the valued contribution of a small band of loyal helpers for expertise, advice and assistance along the way.

The vineyards were planted in 2001 and we have been producing fruit since our first harvest in April 2004.  TOSQ Pinot Noir 2009 and TOSQ Pinot Gris 2011 are the first wines released under our own label.

The way we care for the land is of great importance to us.   To this end, since 2008 we have moved from conventional farming to organic practices.   We do not use any herbicides, synthetically manufactured fertilisers, insecticides or fungicides, favouring naturally derived organic and biological products.   We have been an audited and accredited member of Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand since 2007.
